Happy Holidays from the Western Healthcare Family to Yours!

Holiday Letter and 2022 Recap from our CEO

Dear valued clients and providers:

As we celebrate our 14th year in business, I want to thank you for your continued support and partnerships. In 2022, we saw a substantial increase in both new client and provider partners, which led to many exciting endeavors for our organization. From expanding our management services into new states, continued growth of our locums division, exhibiting at more regional and specialty conferences, to participating in multiple company and client volunteer events, along with an enormous amount of travel and getting to meet our clients in person, none of which would have been possible without you.

As we move into 2023, we look forward to continuing to work together, setting the bar in staffing excellence. From all of us at Western Healthcare, we wish you the happiest of holidays and a prosperous new year!
– Trey Davis, President & CEO

Leave Us a Review and We'll Donate to Children in Need!

In the spirit of giving and helping provide quality health care to patients in our own community, our executive leadership has decided to donate to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. Scottish Rite’s mission is to treat the “whole child” – mind, body, and spirit – with child life programs, individualized physical therapy and in-house specialists in anesthesiology, radiology, psychology, and pharmacy. The hospital also provides specialized sports and recreational programs that encourage socialization and bonding.

When you write a Google review for Western Healthcare, you’re not only sharing your experience working with us and encouraging other clients and providers to consider our staffing services; you’re joining us in an effort to advance Scottish Rite Hospital‘s clinical research, its treatment programs, and increase outreach to children in need of these services.

With each new review, Western will add $5 to its Scottish Rite donation fund.

How Our Team Gave Back to the Community This Year

Western Served Lunch at Largest Homeless Center in North Texas

This year, Western Healthcare had the opportunity to cook and serve lunch to the residents of Dallas LIFE Homeless Recovery Center, the largest homeless recovery center in North Texas. Our team prepared a full meal complete with scratch chicken and vegetable soup, biscuits, salad, and dessert. To start, the team sorted and labeled crates of food donated to Dallas LIFE, stocked the food across the kitchen, and began cooking each part of the meal as a team. Once the meal was ready, our team members split up to prepare the food service station. Finally, as residents trickled into the cafeteria to await their meal, our team created an assembly line to plate and serve the meals to men, women, and children. Thanks to the contributions of Western Healthcare, the Dallas LIFE Food Service Director, and other Dallas LIFE staff members, approximately 70 residents were fed.

Western Spent the Day Working at Local Horse Park

Last month, we volunteered at Equest Therapeutic Riding Center in Dallas. For over 40 years, Equest has provided equine therapy to children, adults, and veterans with physical, cognitive, sensory, social, and learning disabilities. Equest – which currently houses 37 animals, including horses, miniature horses, and a miniature donkey – features 38 stalls, two covered arenas, one outdoor arena, and 6,000-square feet of administration and therapy space. Our staff split up into teams to perform a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks across the horse park while interacting with the animals. Some of these tasks included painting horse obstacle course equipment; cleaning and restocking barn stalls; providing food and water to the animals; building furniture, gardening, landscaping, etc.

Thank you again for a successful year, and happy holidays to our clients and providers!
